Yaadein Vision Fiji Flood Relief Appeal

With great regret, we are faced with an aftermath of devastating floods in the Western Areas of Fiji; affecting BA, Nadi, Lautoka, and Sigatoka. Assessment is continuing and we hear that parts of Raki Raki and Tavua have also been affected.

Yaadein Vision Australia (YVA), in conjunction with its global sister charities in USA, Canada, New Zealand & Fiji, are requesting your kind support in collecting over 40,000 exercise books and school stationery required (as assessed with our Fijian counterparts) by flood affected students who were to commence their school term next week.

This is a humble request from Yaadein Vision to the ex-residents of Fiji and our Australian Brothers & Sisters to help in whatever way you can towards collection of school stationery and/or financially contributing with us in making a difference in the lives of the underprivileged students (and their future).

We are grateful to Mr. Prakash Chandra of Navtarang Media for providing ‘Yaadein Vision’ an opportunity to appeal through Radio Navtarang for this collection and raising funds to meet our target and/or other basic needs of the victims of the devastating floods.

Drop-off points for stationery in Australia are as follows:

Liverpool: Vinayak Music & Video, Taras Trading, Radio Navtaratng
Newtown: Fiji Market, Vinayak Music & Video
Blacktown: Anjana Fashions
Doonside: Moshims Discount House Doonside
Woodcroft: Chetty Spice and Oriental Food Shop, Woodcroft Plaza

We are so grateful to the above sponsors of this appeal who have come together in this last minute to assist us with the collections. They have always assisted us with our fundraising initiatives.

Thanks for your time and continued assistance with Yaadein Vision’s charitable fundraising initiatives.
